Nivel no que se aprofunda na práctica das posturas básicas (posturas de pé, flexións sentados e algunhas posturas pasivas), introdúcense posturas invertidas e estiramentos cara a atrás. É un nivel que combina o afianzamento de asanas dun nivel de iniciación coa introdución paulatina de posturas máis avanzadas.
